FlyBox
Minimalist Rive Animation for Mobile App
Jo Ash Sakula is a leading product designer, with experience at companies like Headspace and Snapchat. For this project, he asked me to design and animate the onboarding screen for a new app called FlyBox, a tool for U.S. users to manage their personal or professional item storage.
After gathering all the necessary details, I created a storyboard. The goal was to keep it simple and minimal, while still clearly explaining how the product works. Once the design was approved, I animated everything using Rive, a powerful tool for creating responsive web and mobile animations.
I was also asked to create a square-format animation for the website. This one visually explained how the system works, using a map to show where items are stored and how they're retrieved.
The result hit all the client’s requirements. It’s a great example of how much you can communicate with just a few shapes and subtle animations when the idea is solid.
